Your Skin Is Your Biggest Organ, So Take Care Of It!

We don’t often think about it, but the skin is the largest organ of our body. It only makes perfect sense to take good care of your body’s largest organ. Your skin has a big job, so help it out!

Maintaining healthy skin helps to slow the aging process, which means fewer fine lines and wrinkles. And let’s be honest: Healthy, youthful skin is a guaranteed confidence booster. When we look good and feel good, we are happier!
Indeed, maintaining healthy skin is often not easy. We all lead busy lives, which are often stressful. Sometimes it feels like taking the extra effort to look after your skin may be too difficult. Sound too much like your life? Don’t panic. Skin Bar is here to help.

Your Skin Is Constantly Battling The Elements. Help It Fight Back!

Our skin is continually bombarded with harsh conditions all day, every day. It is affected externally by the elements: wind, rain, snow, and sun! It is also affected internally – by what we consume, how often we exercise, stress, and genetic disposition, to name just a few. Don’t let these conditions get the best of your skin without putting up a fight. Take these steps to give your skin a fighting chance.

Skincare: Think Of It Like Working Out.

Everybody knows that if you want a great bod, you have to exercise! Unfortunately, a gym membership alone won’t help you achieve the toned buns you want; you have to go to the gym regularly. The key is consistency, and the same goes for your skin.

The only difference is, instead of sweating it out at Equinox, you will enjoy the pampering experience of steam, massage, and the blissful sounds of relaxing soft music. Your skin specialist will be the only one breaking a sweat.

Have no fear; Skin Bar NYC has a simple solution.

Consistent skin care is not only the most effective way to maintain healthy skin but also the easiest. You may be thinking, wow! That sounds great, but how can I afford it? The answer is simple –  you can afford it with a membership.

Membership is beneficial for many reasons:

  • A clear goal and consistent skincare regimen will get you the skin of your dreams.
  • Our specialists will develop a plan to address your unique skin concerns and goals.
  • It’s affordable. Save up to 60% off treatments with a membership.
  • Plus exclusive membership benefits worth over $100 every month.

The concept of skincare memberships is still pretty new. So, we have answered some commonly asked questions you might have about membership…

Q) How will I find the time?

A) All you have to do is visit Skin Bar NYC once or twice a month.

The total monthly time commitment is less than two hours. Skincare treatments are something to look forward to without anxiety or guilt. It’s you’re “you” time. You can relax, rejuvenate, restore! We make skincare easy and fun. And we can guarantee that after one month of services, you will see brighter, healthier skin. Before you know it, you’ll be counting down the days until your next treatment.

Q) Which membership is suitable for me?

A) The Clear Skin Membership is our most popular membership.

It includes any facials, chemical peels, Laser Genesis, IPL Photofacial, Microcurrent, or Fraxel Refresh. The best thing? You can choose TWO of ANY of these services EVERY MONTH! Or one Fraxel Refresh. And you can mix and match! Come in twice a month or have two services done together on the same day.

Q) Which treatments are right for me?

A) We find that many clients leave this decision up to our estheticians, as we have years of specialist experience on our side and can formulate a specific game plan for their skin.
While having a regular facial monthly is essential and helps maintain healthy skin, treatments like IPL and Laser Genesis help reverse signs of aging. These treatments remove sun damage, acne scarring, stimulating collagen, shrink pores, lift features and smooth out fine lines and wrinkles.
Chemical peels and Deep Pore Facials help with acne, acne scarring, unwanted pigmentation, rosacea, and many other conditions. Not to mention all of these treatments help speed up cellular turnover, which slows down at the age of 25!

After just one facial, clients will notice that their skin will look and feel softer, exfoliated, and more clear of blackheads. When it comes to laser treatments and chemical peels, while some clients notice a difference after just one treatment, it usually takes a series to see the best result. We recommend about six treatments. However, each individual is unique, so that it may take less or more depending on their skin type.

Our Skin Care Specialists are on hand to provide invaluable knowledge and guidance. Step into our Fit Skin Photo Booth and learn which treatments are right for you.

Q) Perfect! Two treatments per month are all I need?

A) Maintaining healthy skin doesn’t stop in the spa. It is an all-around effort!

Maintaining healthy skin doesn’t stop in the spa. It is the same concept with home care use and the gym! Unfortunately, you won’t get great results by working out at the gym and then going home and eating junk food; it is an all-around effort. Our skincare experts recommend products and diet so that your skin is the best it can be!

Let us lead you to a healthier, more beautiful you! Call us anytime at 212-889-1175 to set up an appointment with one of our fabulous Specialists!
