The Best Microneedling in NYC

After years of research and hundreds of treatments performed in our New York City skin care clinic, our team of skincare experts chose the Procell MD Microneedling device and combined it with the MD Aftercare system to develop what we believe is the best Microneedling system available to residents of NYC and the surrounding area.

Our criteria for choosing the best Microneedling treatment in New York City was the same as we have used in all our previous technology choices.

The Best Results Every Time

Safe results are always the most important factor for us when evaluating a new technology to bring into our skin care clinic. We want to make sure our members and clients are getting the best value for their time and money.

Throughout our testing, Procell MD technology delivered visible results that our members and clients absolutely loved. And it delivered every time for the face, neck, and chest areas. Visible results are evident after just one treatment. But peak results are seen after a series of 3–5 Procell MD treatments scheduled 3–4 weeks apart.

The number of treatments needed depends on age and the level of environmental damage one presents at the time of evaluation. Acne clients typically need a full course of therapy to achieve the desired results. After a series of treatments is complete, most clients resume their membership to maintain and enhance their results. Other clients who prefer single services over memberships elect for maintenance treatments 1-2 times a year, depending on their age.

Exceptional results were achieved for almost every aging condition, including fine lines and wrinkles, texture, tone, and firming of the skin. Procell Microneedling also proved to be an effective treatment for boxcar and rolling acne scars. And, to a lesser degree, icepick scars and post-inflammatory pigmentation.

Microneedling improves just about every aspect of the skin, which is one of the main reasons it’s so popular. After every series of treatments, we use our Observ 520x device to analyze the changes and improvements in ones skin. And what we found with Procell MD was a dramatic improvement capable of making clients look 5–10 years younger. And a 50%–70% improvement in acne scars. There was a dramatic improvement in the texture of everyone’s skin, both to the touch and in the form of decreased pore size, smoothness, and firmer skin.

Procell MD claims a 140% increase in the thickness of the skin, which is impossible to analyze with the diagnostic equipment available in our clinic. What we can say is that clients skin was fuller, plumper, and firmer than before they began treatment.

All of these improvements coalesce into an improvement in the age of one’s skin from 5 to 10 years.

What Makes Procell MD The Best Microneedling Technology?

In just about every sector of the aesthetic industry, there are multiple players in the market. Sorting through them to determine which is the best is how we at Skin Bar NYC differentiate ourselves. For microneedling, there were two factors that made the Procell MD rise to the top.

Growth Factor Serums

Growth serums are pretty much what they suggest in their name. Topical serums that are applied to the skin help repair bonds between broken cellular appendages and revive the skin’s ability to produce collagen. Collagen is the protein that makes skin firm, plump, and wrinkle-free. Babies have an abundance of collagen. That’s why they have those cute pinchable cheeks.

As we age, beginning as early as our late 20s, that production begins to decline. By the time we reach the age of 50, production has slowed to a crawl. Thus, sagging, drooping skin. Growth serums help jumpstart the body’s production of collagen, and the results, if the product is legit, are pretty remarkable.

There are countless growth factor serums available today. And they come in a plethora of varieties. The market is too vast to explain them all in this article. So, we’re going to focus on a specific human-derived growth factor.

We use growth factor and cytokine serums used in treatment and at home post-treatment. These stem cells are known to encourage the growth of new, healthy skin cells. After a series of treatments, the skin looks visibly younger. In fact, we have found that clients look 5–10 years younger after completing our 90-Day Youth Bundle.

Faster Recovery Times

Procell MD Microchanneling uses smaller filaments than other Microneedling treatments. These filaments are the “needling” part of the Microneedling treatment. Smaller, microscopic wounds mean we can deliver a higher concentration of channels per square inch of skin, and a higher concentration of serum in the skin, for better results. The tiny filaments used in our process also reduce injury to the skin.

Is Microneedling Time Tested?

Yes. Microneedling has been around for over a century. But in the 1990s, treatment started getting a real boost in technological advancements and results.

Since that time, devices have evolved, making them safer and more precise. Techniques have also changed, improving recovery and safety. But the biggest advance in Microneedling is in the area of serums. These are the products used in treatment and after treatment.

Countless millions of Microneedling treatments have been safely performed. And decade after decade, Microneedling remains one of the most sought-after and recommended treatments by dermatologists and NYC skincare clinics alike.

Serums are what you apply after you perform the actual Microneedling treatment. In order to get the most out of these very expensive serums, we need a delivery system. That’s what the Microneedling treatment does for us.

On its own, Microneedling does improve the skin. After all, the body’s natural reaction to any trauma, big or small, is inflammation. And inflammation results in the creation of new healthy skin cells. So, on its own, Microneedling does affect changes in the skin. But, when used in tandem with a great serum, results can go from good to great.
