What’s A Facial Without a Great Massage? You Won’t Find That Answer at Skin Bar

Skin Bar NYC has developed a brand new proprietary massage therapy just for you!

What is your favorite part of having a facial? Ask 10 people and you’re likely to get 10 different answers. Some clients love the professional products used that they don’t otherwise get an opportunity to try. While others really like the education and tips they get during their skin analysis- right before the facial starts. And still others love the deep cleansing and extractions that leave their skin feeling squeaky clean.

Well, for all the reasons Skin Bar NYC clients love facials, were giving you another reason to fall in love all over again. Our skin care team recently completed advanced training in new facial massage techniques to add to our already rolled out hot towel service. Oh, and don’t worry, we aren’t changing any of the steps that made you fall in love with our facials to begin with. These new techniques are free add-ons to enjoy with every facial, peel and diamondermabrasion.

Our newly minted massage incorporates the face, decollete and upper back. Massaging tissue, working pressure points, lymphatic drainage and smoothing wrinkles all contribute to a brighter glow and pure relaxation, beyond anything you have experienced in a facial before.

A strategically placed hot towel under your neck is the cure for the pent-up stress of hectic New York City life. If that isn’t enough to do the trick, stress will most certainly wash away under the gentle sweeping hand movements of our proprietary 28-step massage. Finished with hot towel service on the face, neck and chest, you’re sure to breathe an audible sigh of relief. You’ll leave Skin Bar fully rejuvenated and prepared to take on whatever the world has in store for you.
In addition to our facial massage we are also adding a new Arm and Hand Massage which is performed after your masque is applied or for clients having peels and diamondermabrasion.

Clients with acne should not have face massage as the sweeping and rubbing motions can inflame the skin and spread acne causing bacteria. Instead, acne clients will be spoiled with a new proprietary Pressure Point Massage that hits all 15 pressure points in the face.

Face massage isn’t just about relaxation. It’s fitness for your skin. These calibrated movements increase blood flow and cellular oxygenation. After a great face massage, you’ll feel better and your skin will be brighter, smoother and tighter from the moment you lift your head off our spa bed.

We have worked very hard to develop our new program and we’re very excited to offer it all our clients. We hope our new massages will be another reason for you to love Skin Bar NYC.
